Choosing a base chain for a crowdfunding platform means optimizing for the two things donors actually feel: transaction cost and confirmation speed.
A donor backing a campaign with $10 shouldn't lose a meaningful chunk of it to gas. BNB Smart Chain's typical transaction costs are a small fraction of Ethereum mainnet's, which matters enormously for a platform built around many small donations rather than a few large ones.
BSC's ~3 second block time means donors see their contribution reflected almost immediately, rather than waiting minutes for confirmation — a meaningfully better experience for a donation flow.
BSC is fully EVM-compatible, which meant we could build on a mature, well-audited tooling ecosystem (Solidity, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin contracts) without inventing new infrastructure, while keeping a clear path to deploy the same contracts to other EVM chains later if needed.
BSC is our primary chain today, but it's not the only one — Solana integration is planned for Q1 2026 as Phase 2 of our roadmap, specifically to reach a wallet ecosystem BSC doesn't cover.
